Maquis Gras '99 was held the weekend of October 1, 2 and 3, 1999 at the Ramada Inn
in Portage, Indiana. This was the 4th year for the event hosted by the local Maquis
chapter the M.A.V. Firesword.

The U.S.S. Camelot Delegation attending the event was well received. Delegates included :

U.S.S. Camelot member Jeff Ross also attended the event.

All delegates report having a good time. The event was well organized, there were lots of seminars and the convention's special guest was Spice Williams, "Vixis" from Star Trek: V.

The dealers' room was nice and prices were very reasonable, with lots of items to choose from.
There was a costume contest on Saturday with lots of impressive entries. Top winners were several Klingons and a "Guinan".  Several of the Camelot delegates also particpated.
